FUKUSHIMA | RYOKAN FRONT DESK STAFF JOB VACANCY

Yamaneya Ryokan (山根屋旅館)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide front desk services and hospitality to guests.
• Guide guests and provide information about the ryokan facilities.
• Assist with cleaning duties within the ryokan when necessary.
• Wear a traditional Japanese outfit called Nibu-shiki (二部式) while working.
• Training on how to wear the traditional uniform will be provided over a period of two days.

Eligibility Requirements

• Age: 20–35 years old
• Education: High school graduate or above
• Japanese Language: JLPT N2 or above
• Tattoos: Applicants must have no tattoos.

Salary & Income

• Basic Monthly Salary: Approximately ¥195,000 or more
• Estimated Take-Home Salary: Approximately ¥160,000 or more

Actual take-home pay may vary depending on deductions and individual circumstances.

Working Hours

• Shift system between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM
• 8 working hours per day
• 1-hour break

Overtime

• Approximately 2–10 hours per month
• Overtime allowance will be paid in full according to the applicable terms.

Days Off

• 8–9 days off per month
• 105 days off per year

Accommodation

• A private, single-occupancy room will be provided.
• Monthly Rent: ¥10,000
• Utility bills, including water and electricity, must be paid according to actual usage.
